Blasting Off at the Sheraton Four Points, Cocoa Beach

What could be more fun than visiting the Kennedy Space Center in Cocoa Beach, Florida? How about re-creating the day’s events in your hotel room and capturing it on your top secret NASA-issued digital camera!

Allen sent in these terrific snaps from the Sheraton Four Points. We can’t quite figure out who’s teaching who to blast-off:

3 - 2 - 1 !!! After returning from a visit to Kennedy Space Center, we decided to try some launches of our own. High speed camera from NASA caught the proof of the launch. Houston…..

It just doesn’t get better than this!

Hotel Bed Jumping at the Awana Kijal Resort

Ahmad recently visited the Awana Kijal resort in Terengganu, Malaysia for some fun and frolic with his family, but a pending monsoon sidelined some of the usual tourist activity.

Every parent knows to plan for contingencies during a vacation when the kids are in tow, and with a little help from BedJump–Ahmad knew just what to do to salvage some fun in the hotel room:

It was a holiday during the monsoon and being confined in the room by the weather we needed an outlet the excess energy we had… then I remembered “BedJumping”… it was so much fun that we continued doing it at the pool in the driving rain but forgot to bring the camera along… nevertheless, it was fun! fun! fun!

We love all of our bed jumping aficionados, but family group shots with smiling kids always hold a special place here at BedJump.com.

It really does just keep getting better and better!

Hotel Bed Jumping: All in the Family

There is something special about a family that sticks together. Over the last year we’ve received some wonderful images of family vacations where the entire family banded together for some group activity…BedJump style.

Geert is from Bruges in Belgium, and he is quite a fan of bed jumping. We have received images of Geert in Aachen and Gondorf in Germany. Then we received another ditty from Geert’s son Rémi at the Terra Ventura Hotel.

Geert is a restaurateur by trade, and he created a hilarious “wall of fame” at his restaurant to feature his bed jumping activity, as well as pics from his family and friends. However, there was a glaring omission on Geert’s BedJump Wall: he didn’t have any pics of wife Caroline. Until today.

Here’s to Geert and his high-flying family!

At last i could persuade my wife, Caroline to join the gang of bed jumpers. It did cost me a four night stay in Prague however. Here you see her jumping in the Astoria hotel, in the very centre of the city. As you can see she’s having a great time. And is very proud now she’s also on my little wall of fame.

We did enjoy Praque very much, and approved of the quality of its beds…

It really does just keep getting better and better!

Family Session at the Courtyard Marriott, Kingston

We love these terrific images from Jonathan and family–all of whom clearly know how to get the most out of their hotel stay.

Marriott has long marketed itself as a family-friendly hotel brand, but it seems perhaps that some employees of the Courtyard Marriott in Kingston didn’t get the memo.

“These are my daughters, myself and my wife diving at a Courtyard Marriott in upstate New York. We were there for the wedding of my niece Sarah and her husband, Joseph. We got complaints phoned up from the front desk just moments after checking in!”

Hotel Bed Jumping at the Baymont Inn, Cincinnati

Many folks probably think that hotel bed jumping is a kid’s sport. And before we received the avalanche of bed jumping images sent in for our little bed project, we might have agreed.

Well, it turns out that getting up on your hotel bed and testing the bounce factor is an activity enjoyed by guests of all ages, and we’re thankful for that. Still, seeing the joy on our junior-jumpers’ faces truly makes us all feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Kari recently sent in these incredible family jump antics taken at the Baymont Inn, Cincinnati. Man, this is one high-flying family!

We love it when we learn stuff from our children. You know, the little things that make a big difference…like, for example, taking your shoes off when you jump on your hotel bed!

Thanks for these Kari–it really does just keep getting better and better.

We were traveling through and stopped for the night. Ever since I saw the bed jumping website, I wanted to do it!

Family Time at the Best Western, Canyon de Chelly

Many of you have been there. Long-haul drives across North America with the kids. The sights, sounds, smells, excitement and boredom of the road.

After day two of the drive from Texas to New Mexico, Katie and her beautiful family had just about had enough. There’s nothing like stretching the legs a little in the hotel room after a heavy drive, and what better way to get the full value of your hotel stay than hitting the spa…bedjump style. If we ever publish the BedJump travel magazine, this flying family will make the front cover for sure!

Thanks for sharing Katie.

After a two day drive from Texas we couldn’t wait to get out of the car and jump on the beds

Bed Jumping at the Fort Lauderdale Airport Ramada

Kevin sent us three images that truly capture the essence of hotel bed jumping. We don’t profess to be changing the world with our little bed blog, but we sure do enjoy watching families getting together for some fun during their hotel stay. Talk about entertaining!

Thanks Kevin…it really does just keep getting better and better!

…ever since i stumbled upon the bed jump website, i’ve been waiting for a chance to prove my skills. who knew i could convince my family to participate as well. so, before heading out to start our family cruise, i convinced my mom (such a good sport) & cousin anne to join me in a little round of bed jumping.

Hotel Bed Jumping Family Showdown

Although many of our viewers have commented that hotel bed jumping is bound to be featured in future Olympic Games, we don’t really consider bed jumping to be a competitive endeavour. That is, until today.

We recently received hilarious bed jumping images from Geert - one of our most dedicated fans. Not only has Geert taken the “sport” to a whole ‘nother level, but he has inspired some spirited dialogue within his own family.

Geert’s son Rémi recently emailed us with some insight into his father’s passion for the Jump, and sent along some equally excellent images of his own! These were also taken at the Terra Ventura Hotel in Gondorf, Germany.

Hi, My father (Geert) is a great fan of your site. He seems to be in his mid-life crisis, ’cause every time he goes to a hotel, he lets my mother take pictures of him jumping the bed. He’s quite proud of it too actualy. At his work, he’s got all his pictures of his bed jumps on the wall, and he’s reserving a wall for clients who also bedjump.

I see you’ve already received the pictures of him jumping in Gondorf. Well, I went along on the trip, and, of course, I also bed jumped. Also a friend of mine couldn’t resist the bed. Pity it wasn’t a soft bed though. I hope you’ll like the pictures :)

Sister knows best at the Manchester Grand Hyatt

Here at BedJump.com we always say it’s family-first. Especially when “family” is grabbing the camera late-night on New Year’s Eve to capture some hilarious bed jumping images!

Friends and siblings had a raucous night out in San Diego New Year’s Eve. We went back to our hotel and my sister (the blonde) declared, “lets take bed jumping pictures!” It was our first foray into the art form and this was the best shot taken. p.s. the bed was much better for jumping than sleeping.

Rachel sent in these bed jumping antics taken at San Diego’s upscale Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. We enjoyed watching the tender pillow’ed landing in the first shot, then the timid tandem in the second in preparation for achieving the perfect duet in the third. Who has more fun than us?

Hotel Bed Jumping Buddies at the Luxor, Las Vegas

It would be a rare occasion indeed for us to pick a favourite bed jumping image. We can happily say that after having received almost three hundred jump photos, not a single one has ever failed to deliver a good laugh and a feeling of youthful enthusiasm.

Even though we love all your images, today we have to admit that we have a soft spot for photos taken of families getting together in the spirit of a good hotel bed bounce.

Check out Juan and his son Alex featured below at the Luxor Hotel, Las Vegas. This father and son bed jumping team have some of the biggest smiles we have seen here at BedJump.com. And that’s what this site is all about.

my son Alex and I went to Las Vegas. the beds were very “threatening” so we softened them up. it was great

Bed Jumping at the J.W. Marriott, Hong Kong

When your partner is in the navy, time off the boat is precious. Judy flew all the way to Hong Kong for some time with her husband Henry when his submarine was in port for some R&R. Rest and relaxation.

And when you are a sailor packed into an underwater tube with a crew of hundreds for weeks at a time, the first thing on your mind when you come off the boat is naturally going to be stretching those legs with some B&B. Bed Bouncing.

We can’t think of a better way than a good bed jump to celebrate your partnership and get back the land legs. Enjoy these images of Judy and Henry at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.

The photos of my husband Henry and I in the fancy hotel room were taken at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong when his sub was in port.

BedJump Goes to the Dogs in Fargo, North Dakota

Judy is a frequent world traveller and hotel photography aficionado. We’ve had the pleasure of featuring Judy’s swimming pool images from Thailand on our sister site, HotelSplash.com.

While on a road trip across the U.S.A from east coast to west, Judy found the time to squeeze in a hotel bed jump or two in Fargo. Mike, Judy’s 14 year old dog - didn’t seem to enjoy bed jumping very much as you can see above.

We get hotel bed jump images from human viewers of all ages here at BedJump.com - but you just can’t teach an old dog new tricks!

The photos with me and my dog were taken by my mom on our road trip across the US from Maryland to Washington state. We stopped in Fargo North Dakota for the night. My mom was game to snap the photos. My 14 year old dog, Mike,
wasn’t that psyched about jumping on the bed.
