Hotel Bed Jumping for Spite in Dead Sea, Israel
Guests usually arrive at their travel destination full of anticipation, and they check in to their hotel excited to enjoy the experience. A comfortable guestroom, a dip in the hotel pool and perhaps a relaxing spa treatment to remove the stresses of travelling are usually top of mind when checking in.
What happens when guests arrive and none of the services and activities they wanted to experience are available? Maybe renovations are underway at the hotel and the guest was not warned during the reservation process. Perhaps a celebrity is in-house, and the hotel pool is closed for a private function. Even worse, what if the hotel simply closes amenities early without regard for the fact that guests expect to actually use these services throughout the evening.
Tatyana found herself in just such a situation at the Novotel Thalassa in Dead Sea, Israel. With no chance to go swimming or enjoy any recreational services other than karaoke, Tatyana and her partner only had one thing left to do. Luckily for us here at BedJump.com, they captured the event on film:
We arrived at the hotel at 5:30pm, only to be told that the pool and spa facilities had closed at 5. There was NOTHING to do except have the icky dinner starting at 7, followed by karaoke. We were understandably frustrated (hence Dorit’s middle finger salute), and decided to take our anger out on the hotel bed, which turned out to be hours of fun.
