“While at a boring/lame conference for 3 days, this was actually the highlight one of the nights while staying in Paris. Since the other Fernando has been not very active, here goes some competition
By the way, the hotel is quite good for this, since sleeping is not what it was designed for: The very original low tech ventilation system brings the sound from outside (cars, everything) to the rooms, amplified! Even to the 7th floor where we were. In one of the rooms it even had echo effects. The best “sleep on the streets” experience. They should also throw some pigeons into the rooms
I was afraid this was not going to appear after so long. Actually, as I wrote in the description, this was the highlight of the conference, seriously. I should also say that the not really good noisy hotel was Citéa La Vilette. Don’t stay there unless you like street noise INSIDE your room.
