Sydney: Seasalt Café and Kiosk, Clovelly Beach

Seasalt Cafe at Clovelly BeachYou'll find the award-winning Seasalt, with her lovely umbrella-shaded veranda overlooking the water, just above the ocean pool at Clovelly Beach. It's a cross between a sophisticated dining experience, a casual beach joint where swimmers and thongs are OK and a take-away window offering fish and chips, pies, sandwiches and cold drinks to sunburnt beachgoers. It's open for breakkie, lunch and, in the warmer months, dinner.

My two favourite breakkies: organic granola, fruits and citrus yoghurt withGood coffee at Seasalt honey ($10.90) or bacon, free range eggs and tomato on sourdough toast ($13.50).  If you want to sample the extensive lunch and every-changing dinner menu, prices get a little more expensive: entrees range from$14.00-$17.50 and a main such as Char-grilled Prawns on a Salad of Tagliatelle, Blood Orange, Spinach, Oyster Mushroom for $26.50. The food is delicious! BYO (wine only) and the café has an extensive wine list. Kid's menus available.  Wheelchair access and disabled toilet.

Sydney diving: Gordon's Bay, Clovelly - Sydney Blog Says: April 17th, 2007 at 6:44 am

[...] Choose your boulder and unfurl your towel to catch a few rays before hitting the world of underwater. Oh, I should mention Gordy's Bay is very popular with dogs so if you don't like them, best you check one of my other diving suggestions. You can rock-hop your way further up the bay towards the beach if you want more privacy. During the week there may be a few other folk but it can get busy on weekends. Snacks can be found around the corner at the Seasalt Cafe, Clovelly Beach [...]
