One of Sydney's Best & Bustling Hair Salons
If you've read about the historical Queen Victoria Building in Central Sydney, and are planning to visit QVB, why not get your hair done? QVB houses a chic and hospitable hair salon staffed by some Sydney's best salon hands. OzHair is one of my favorite salons, not simply because I'm served a cappuccino or steaming hot tea when I walk through the doors, but also because the friendly staff does their best to make me unwind as I get my hair washed, cut, brushed, and blow dried. OzHair is a fully functioning salon, but it is especially talented with hair dyes and do's. As soon as my head hits the sink, I've got strong hands massaging my scalp for nearly 10 minutes. Who said a hair wash didn't include a massage?

My friends and I have been going to OzHair for years, and we look forward to our quarterly visits. Prices are not exorbitantly high, in spite of the pampering clients receive. However, be ready to have plenty of cash or a credit card handy. A cut and dye can run you AUS$100 and higher. But, you shouldn't expect any surprises, OzHair staff is happy to provide a quote before services are rendered.
Usually, appointments are necessary, but if you happen to be shopping or hanging out at QVB, stop by OzHair located on the sub-floor (where Victoria's Basement is located) and ask if they have any slots for a quick trim or highlights.
