Toastmasters is an international organisation which encourages people to develop confidence, leadership and comaraderie through public speaking and interacting with experienced toastmasters. Some people belong to particular clubs and concentrate on specific personal goals. Other people drop by and act as guests at different clubds to see what its all about. Toastmasters can be found in different countries, but if you're visiting the Melbourne area, you'll be surprised at the extent of yoru options. You can choose to watch and listen or volunteer to take on secondary roles, such as providing brief comments or timing other presenters.
